Charles Anne Topper

Mrs. Charles Anne Topper, 84, of Batesburg passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Mrs. Topper was born in Johnston, SC, a daughter of the late Charles William and Florence Oswalt Ripley. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Mrs. Topper loved to cook, plant flowers and socialize with everyone.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Topper; children, Brenda, Flo, Carol and Thomas; grandchildren, Brad, Chasity, Charity, Mandy, Kelly, Tabitha, Jeremy, and Mia. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Madolyn, Corey, Chayse, Colen, Trenton, Trey, Kylie, Reece, Brett, Taylor and Alexis; great great grandchildren, Dai, Mackenzie, Khloe, Paisley, Presley, Chance, Axel, Willow and Braylen; as well as many extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rusty; and siblings, William, Waylon and Juanita.

The funeral service for Mrs. Topper will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 21st at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Paulling will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Joanne Phillips, Chasity and Charity for all their love and care of Mrs. Topper during her illness.
