Charles Earl Fickling

Charles Earl Fickling, 76, of Swansea, passed away October 7, 2023. Mr. Fickling was born on the Waylon Naval Base in North Charleston, South Carolina, to the late Joseph Johnson and Dorothy Gibson Fickling. He worked with Southern Bell for a number of years as a lineman and also as a private contractor for a construction company for 20 years. Mr. Fickling enjoyed HO Model Trains and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Lisa Anne Washburn; son, Charles Z. Fickling (Lee Anthony Ambrose); as well as his grandchildren, Caidence and Regan Fickling; and step-grandchildren, Lauren and Presleigh Sawyer. Also surviving are his sister-in-law, Linda Kaim LaCaccio.
