Christine Marie Ledbetter

Christine Marie Stokes, 49, of Aiken, SC, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Aiken Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.

Christine, known to all as Tina, was born on April 24, 1974 in Fort Bragg, NC, daughter of the late Arthur Charles Henning and of Mary Colleen Henning of KS. She was a home maker and was of the Catholic faith.

Tina was the beloved wife of William Burton Stokes. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Pitts. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are four children; Jessica Lee Daley of CO, Samantha Mae Blow of KS, John Tyler Ledbetter of SC and Zayne Burton Henning of GA; three siblings; sister, Ruth Christine Vajda of KS, brother, David Wayne Henning of GA, and brother James Patrick Henning of KS; grandchildren, Christel Nichole Blow, Sapphira Colleen Marie Henning, Jaxon Scott Harvey Rogers, and Magdalene Rose Vajda of KS, and Thatcher Holden Wayne Daley of CO.

Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1:00pm in the Historic George Funeral Home Downtown Chapel.
