Christine Willis

Christine Mary Willis, 73, of Batesburg, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Born in Burlington, Vermont, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Thelma Lacrosse Hance. Christine was a US AirForce Veteran, who served during the Vietnam Era. One of her favorite past times was word puzzles. She attended Worship Fellowship Church of God. Mrs. Willis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all that knew her.

Surviving are her husband of more than 50 years, Donald Lynn Willis, Sr.; son, Donnie Willis and Brian Willis; grandchildren, Brittany, Austin, Briana, Alexis, and John; as well as great grandchildren, Taylor and Sophia; and a sister, Joan Dunton (Hal). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Steven and Paul Hance Jr.; and sisters, Donna Clodgo and Sharon Williams.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Willis will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Lear officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Lexington Medical Center, Intensive Care Unit for their care, love and support shown to Mrs. Willis and family.
