Graveside services for Clarence Gilbert Kirton, 72, of Graniteville, will be held at 2pm Friday, March 8, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery, in Columbus, GA, with full military honors.
Mr. Kirton, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late James and Ouida Sims Kirton. Mr. Kirton was a retired US Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Judith Holt Kirton of Graniteville; daughters, Kathryn Cox Michael of Oklahoma City and Ouida Kirton of Bebee, Arkansas; sons, Clarence Kirton, Jr., of Graniteville, John Kirton Vanessa of Claremore, Oklahoma and James Kirton Cindy of Oklahoma City; a brother, James R. Kirton, Jr. Yasuko of Ft. Worth, Texas, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
