Claudia Elizabeth Greer

A memorial service for Mrs. Claudia Elizabeth Greer will be held on Sunday April 29, 2007 at 2:00pm at Foreman Memorial Baptist Church in New Ellenton. Interment will be private and under the direction of George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW in Aiken.

Mrs. Greer, 70, of New Ellenton, died Wednesday April 25, 2007 at Azalea Woods in Aiken. A daughter of the late Claude and Lettie May Barfield Vansant, she was born in Aiken and had lived most of her life in New Ellenton. She was a homemaker and loved her church and Sunday school class at Foreman Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by two daughters, Linda Sanders and Cynthia Buff and a sister, Minnie L. Herron. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hatcher, Cope, SC and Nancy Anderson, New Ellenton. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
