Clifford Guy Walton

Funeral services for Mr. Clifford Guy Walton will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 2pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken with Rev. Michael Terry and Rev. Roger Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Walton, 62, of Aiken, died, Friday, September 5, 2008 at his residence.

Born in Fredericktown, OH, he was the son of the late Clifford and Bessie Springer Walton. Clifford and his family moved to Aiken, SC in 1983. He worked at the Savannah River Site for 12 years in the Maintenance Department. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1967. Clifford loved animals, building houses, boating, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Marie Jeffries Walton, sons, Rick Davis, Wellsville, OH, James Walton, Aiken S.C, Mark Walton, Negley, OH, brothers, Ron Walton, Lisbon, OH, James Walton, Wagener, SC, eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
