Colby John Harris

Colby John Harris, 29, of Summerville, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022. A private funeral service will be held.

Mr. Harris was born in Spartanburg, SC, a son of Jewels Harris and Erika Schmidt Childress. He loved motor cross, the Steelers football team and Star Wars. Colby loved to go fishing and cook with his family.

Surviving are his father, Jewels Harris (Terri) of King, NC; mother, Erika Childress of Summerville, SC; siblings, Kelsea J. Harris of Summerville, SC, Katarina L. Harris of Charleston, SC, Christa D. Harris of Charleston; Colten E. Harris of Wilmington, NC; and nephew, Mason L. Harris of Summerville, SC. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Marcella S. Harris of Gaffney and maternal grandparents, John and Lois Schmidt of Summerville, SC. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Pastor Howard W. Harris.
