Cynthia Ellen Boyer Edwards

A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Cynthia E. Boyer "Cyndy" Edwards will be celebrated on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 10am at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery and will be private for family members.

Mrs. Edwards, 66, of Aiken, died Friday, May 7, 2010 at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.

Cyndy was born in Galax, VA and raised in Bedford, VA. She spent most of her adult life in Barnwell, SC and she moved to Aiken in 2003 to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by a son; Peter Anthony "Tony" Zionkowski and his wife Susie, Aiken, SC, a daughter; Michele McDermott and her husband Jay, Aiken, SC, a brother; Edward Boyer, Green Cove Springs, FL and a sister; Linda Markham, Okeechobee, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
