Dana Wells Foss, 67, of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away on June 2nd, 2026.

Born on September 3rd, 1958, in Concord, Massachusetts, Dana was the son of the late David Wells Foss and Anne Patrice Foss. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Dana is survived by his sisters, Winnie Smith and Kimberly Foss; his children, Zuri (Michael) Gregory and Remy (Miranda) Waser-Foss; and his beloved grandchildren, Kaden and Rowan, who brought him immeasurable joy.

A talented Chef, Dana possessed a lifelong passion for cooking and an appreciation for good food and the way it brought people together. Intelligent, quick-witted, and endlessly curious, he had a remarkable ability to find humor in everyday life and always had a clever remark ready to lighten the moment.

In his later years, Dana embraced a new chapter with determination, gratitude, and a commitment to becoming the very best version of himself. He approached each day with purpose and continually sought growth, inspiring those around him through his resilience and unwavering love for his family.

Dana found peace by the water, whether casting a fishing line or simply enjoying the beauty and stillness it offered. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his grandchildren and loved them wholeheartedly. He delighted in sharing stories, laughter, and the simple moments that became cherished memories.

Those who knew Dana will remember his sharp mind, his generous spirit, and his ability to make others laugh. They will remember a man who loved deeply, worked hard, and never stopped striving to grow. His family will forever cherish the years they shared together and the love he poured into their lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 28th, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in Cobb Island, Maryland. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Dana’s life, share stories, and celebrate the man he was and the memories he leaves behind.
