Daniel Robert Hart

Daniel Robert Hart, 62, of Aiken, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 at his residence following an illness. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Monday, September 16, 2013 at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER.

Mr. Hart was born in Parris Island and was a son of the late Richard & Lila Ruth Sullivan Hart. He was retired from SRS and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to Edisto Beach and was an avid gamecock fan. Mr. Hart was a music buff who enjoyed playing the guitar. He was known by his grandchildren as "Grumpy". He was preceded in death by a brother, Pat Hart.

Survivors include his loving wife, Candace Polson Hart; daughters, Reasa Hart, Angie Hart, Missy Hook (Kevin) and Megan Hart all of Aiken; a son, Shawn Polson (Sara) of Newark, Delaware; a sister, Linda Lucas (Warren) of Aiken; a brother, Mike Hart (Jeannie) of Irmo; 3 grandchildren, Jade Brown, Liam King and Sage Hook.
