David Chaplow Bright

David Chaplow Bright, 70, beloved husband of Robin A. Kroc passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving evening, November 23, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness.

David was born on February 16, 1953, in Bridgeport, CT a son of the late Richard and Jean Corrigan Bright. David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Colby College in Waterville, ME and his Master of Arts Degree in teaching from the University of Southern Maine in Portland, ME. David retired from the Brunswick School Department in Brunswick, ME. During his tenure as an educator, he taught at Bates College in Lewiston, MME, Lewiston High School in Lewiston, ME and Brunswick High School in Brunswick, ME. David was an avid swimmer and was a New England Masters Swimmer having competed around the United States and in other Worldwide competitions.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Emily Louise Bright (Seth Salinas) of Reston, WA and Hannah Elizabeth Bright (Robert Eggerton) of Reading, VT; 2 grandsons, Cooper David Eggerton and Angus Leon Eggerton both of Reading VT.

Private memorial services will be held later.
