David C. Brogden

David Brogden, a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2026.

David was a man with a truly big heart and an incredible capacity to love. His family meant everything to him, and he believed family was more than just blood. He welcomed people into his heart and made those around him feel loved, cared for, and accepted.

David had a special love for children. Throughout his life, he opened his heart and his home to many children, giving them love, protection, guidance, and a place to belong. Caring for others was simply who David was.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jamie Evans Brogden; mother, Barbara Ann Smith Brogden; daughters, Miranda Fanning (Drew), Kristen Saunders (Thomas), and Jodie Rawl (Adrian); sons, Justin Rawl, Darren Couch, and Kameron Couch. David is also survived by his grandsons, Henri and Daniel; nephew, Grayson McLean; sister, Cindy Schmitt (Ricky); brothers, Allen Williams (Tina) and Clay Brogden (Lisa); cousin, Jamey Smith; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and family members who loved him dearly.

David was preceded in death by his father, Richard Brogden; daughter, Summer Poole; great-grandmother, Big Mama; grandparents, Pauline and Arthur Smith; brothers, Michael Williams and Lewis Williams; and his aunt, Candy Brogden.

David was also a proud member of the Brothers Forever MC, where he shared a special bond with his best friend, Jimmie “Hammer” Barton. The brotherhood and friendships he formed there were an important part of his life.

David’s greatest gift was making people feel like they mattered. His love, laughter, kindness, and memories will live on through all those whose lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Rest peacefully, David. Your heart was big enough to love so many, and you will forever be loved by the family you cherished so much.
