David Earle Settle

David Earle Settle, 73, of Leesville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022. A memorial for Mr. Settle will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 12th at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Paulling officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mr. Settle was born in Columbia, SC, the son of the late Earle Ray and Marguerite Waldt Settle. He was a member of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church were he served as a deacon. Mr. Settle retired from the Department of Transportation after serving over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Pam Settle; daughters, Lori Muller (Peter) and Elizabeth Turner. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Blake and Megan Turner; and a great granddaughter, Sophia Osuna-Perez.
