Dawn M. Lauback

Dawn M. Lauback, 75, of Leesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at her home. Born in Alpena, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Donald M. Shaw, Sr. and Helen Mae Eller Shaw. Dawn was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed baking cakes, crocheting, and camping. She especially loved spending time with her family and sitting on her front porch watching the birds and horses.

Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Lynn Lacey (Tim); granddaughter, Katelynn Roy (Bobby); great-grandchildren, Christina Hogan and Tristan Elliott; brothers, Donald M. Shaw, Jr. (Cheryl) and David M. Shaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Albert Lauback.

No formal services are planned at this time. Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, is assisting the family.

Dawn's kind heart, warm smile, and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
