Dean Swygert

Dean Swygert, 78, of Leesville, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 20th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Paulling officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Swygert was born in Leesville, SC, a son of the late Raymond and Nola Swygert. He loved to fish, work on lawn mowers, and watch Steve Harvey.

Surviving are his daughter, Dedra Kinard; brother, Gerald Swygert; sisters, Shirley Smith, Kathy Harmon; grandson, Anthony Tolen; many great grandchildren; and his pet dog, Bubba. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Marty Shealy, Jr; and brother, Dale Swygert.
