Deette Ripley

DeEtte Ripley, 96, of Batesburg, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Mrs. Ripley was born in South Carolina to the late John and Jeannie Rutland. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Batesburg.

Surviving are her son, Charles "Buddy" Ripley, Sr. (Frankie); daughter, Donna Ripley; granddaughters, Nicole Walker, Rita Orear (Clay), Tonia Branham (David), Sara Holley (Jason), April Derrick (Willi), and Elizabeth Powers (Robby); grandsons, Adam Walker (Rebecca), Charles Ripley, Jr. (Kristine), and Robbie Pou; along with many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other extended family members. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ripley was preceded in death by her husband, William "Rip" Ripley; son, Bennie Walker; daughter, Darlene Holley; and grandson, Ricky Pou.

The service for Mrs. Ripley will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 16th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Eshleman officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Crest Memorial Park.
