Diane Louise Scherer

Mrs. Diane Louise Scherer, 66, of Aiken, beloved wife of Dennis L. Scherer, died Saturday, September 29, 2012, at her residence following an illness.
Born in Flint, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Lawson and Ora Garrett Powers. A resident of Aiken for 21 years, she was a retired Legal Secretary at Harlow Law Firm.
In addition to her husband, Dennis, Mrs. Scherer is survived by her son, Denny Scherer of Aiken and a brother, Jack Powers Carol of Lansing, Michigan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Cedar Creek Church, Banks Mill Campus, officiated by Pastor Phillip Lee. The family will receive friends following the service. GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, Aiken is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aiken
