Doris Bolin Ergle

Graveside services for Mrs. Doris Bolin Ergle will be held Friday March 16, 2007 at 2PM at the Bethany Cemetery in Aiken, with Rev. Charlie Kelly Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6PM until 8PM at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to the SPCA or the Aiken Animal Control 401 Wire Road Aiken, SC 29801.

Mrs. Ergle 74, of Aiken, died Tuesday March 13, 2007 at her home.

Mrs. Ergle was born in Aiken. A daughter of the late Ezelle Bolin and Viola Hutto Bolin. She attended and graduated as the 1950 Valedictorian of the Orangeburg county High School in Springfield, SC. She returned to Aiken County in 1950 and was first married to Wallace Mundy, and then in 1963 she married Johnnie Ergle. Mrs. Ergle was the supervisor of the clerical department for the DSS of the State of South Carolina where she had worked for over thirty six years. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Johnnie Ergle who died on January 18, 2007.

Mrs. Ergle is survived by three daughters; Vicki Hair, Joplin MO, Elaine Fulmer, Aiken, Geri Mundy, Aiken, two step daughters Martha Adams, Aiken, MaryJohn Leitch, Columbia, one step son John MichaelLynne Ergle, Aiken, one brother Kenneth Bolin, Ridgeville, SC, seven sisters: Jenny Magness, Aiken, Barbara Johnson, Cayce, Gwendolyn Heath, Aiken, Shirley Adkins, West Columbia, Patricia Addison, Pontiac, SC, Betsy Penberthy, Oskaloosa, Kansas, Bonnie Jumper, Gilbert, sixteen Grandchildren, and thirteen Great Grandchildren .
