Doris Godwin Neal

Memorial services for Mrs. Doris Godwin Neal will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 3pm at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church with the Rev. Ella Breckenridge officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Mead Hall School, 129 Pendleton St, SW, Aiken, SC, 29801.

Mrs. Neal, 81, of Aiken, died July 5, 2008 at her residence.

Born in Pembroke, NC, she was the daughter of the late John and Lizzie Chavis Godwin. Mrs. Neal attended St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church and was the Daycare Director from 1989 - 1998 at Mead Hall School. She also had worked as a secretary at Savannah River Site and was the co-owner and founder of D.C. Neal Construction Company in Charlotte, NC.

She is survived by a host of friends.
