Mrs. Doris Pearl Patterson, 76, of Aiken, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at her residence following an illness. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Sunday, January 26, 2014 at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER. Burial will take place in Tampa, Florida.
Born in Prathers Creek, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Odell & Mae Eastrige Evans. She was a widow of the late George Patterson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Myra Lynn Grinels and a brother James Evans.
Survivors include sons, Mark Smith (Vicki) of Spring Hill, Florida and Fred Patterson of Aiken; daughters, Susan Grinels (Josh Campbell) of Windsor and Donna Davis of Lutz, Florida; a sister, Sonya Kindt (Jonathan) of Aiken and 5 grandchildren.
