Dorothy Senterfeit Brown

Dorothy Senterfeit Brown, 91, of Batesburg, wife of the late Lester I. Brown passed away Friday, December 2, 2016. A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Kneece Cemetery with Rev. Robert Patterson, Rev. Joey Curado and Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Active pallbearers are Cory Price, Justin Williams, Adam Williams, Timothy McCormick, Leif Hoagland and Chris Connelly. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Dorothy loved her church and family. She was a life- long foster parent and she loved to travel with her family. She was a member of Hulon Baptist Church. She was born in Batesburg, SC daughter of the late Forrest and Thelma Senterfeit. She had worked in the textile industry.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Steve Brown (Stella) of Batesburg-Leesville; Belinda Boland (Karon) of Batesburg-Leesville; foster children: Brenda B. Senterfeit (Sam); Gary Botts (Callie); Joey Curado (Susan); brothers, George Senterfeit (Janice) and Johnny Senterfeit; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a foster child, Tommy Botts and a brother, William Senterfeit.
