Earline Durst

Wilma Earline Kneece Durst, 93, of Batesburg, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022. She was born September 1, 1929, to the late Willie "Son" & Ada Kneece. Earline enjoyed sewing, fishing, gardening and traveling, while spending time with family. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Batesburg.


She was a mother of three, grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of 18, and great-great-grandmother of one. She is survived by her son, Charles Allen (Linda) Durst; daughter, Jan Eargle; daughter-in-law, Sandra Durst; grandchildren, Laura (George) Price, Chad Durst, Derek (Lesslie) Durst, Tony (DeeDee) Durst, Brandy (Jason) Gilbert, Cory (Kim) Durst, and Jessica (Stuart) Yarborough; step-grandchildren, Terry (Denna) Rodgers, Billy (Theresa) Hicks; great-grandchildren, Zach and Taylor Gantt, Kaitlyn Price, Brynlynn Putnam, Hunter, McKenzie and Lily Gilbert, Aurora, Breigh and Chace Durst, Rosslyn and Cooper Durst, Nash, Everett and Aria Durst, Briggs, Hank and Kayleigh Yarborough; and a great-great-grandchild, Brooklyn Hunter. In addition to her parents, Earline was preceded in death by her husband, Willie "Donnie" Durst; a son, Donald "Jerry" Durst; and son-in-law, Kenny Eargle.


The funeral service for Mrs. Durst will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 29th, at First Baptist Church of Batesburg with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating. Burial will follow in the Kneece family cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the church sanctuary.
