Funeral Services for Mr. Eddie G. Morris, Jr. will be private and are under the direction of George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken, SC. Memorial donations may be directed to the charity of your choice. Mr. Morris, 65, of Aiken, died Friday, November 21, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A son of the late Eddie G. Sr. and Inez Hightower Morris, he was born in Savannah, GA and had lived in Rincon, GA before moving to Aiken twenty years ago. Mr. Morris was a Veteran of the United States Army and had worked as a sprinkler fitter for the U. A. Local #669, based in Columbia, MD. He was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Mr. Morris is survived by his wife; Estelle Wood, Aiken, children; Eddie G. Morris, III, Estill, SC, Michelle Morris, Toledo, OH, Tracy Brown, Rincon, GA, step-sons; Jodi Showalter, Aiken, SC, Harley Showalter, Jr., Barlow, KY and David Wood, Aiken, SC., sisters; Mildred Scholl, Savannah, GA and Edith Richardson, Charleston, SC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
