Edward Scott Jeffcoat

Edward Scott "Scottie" Jeffcoat, 55, of Leesville, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Born in Prosperity, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Louie Edward and Mary Susan Maroney Jeffcoat. Scottie was a true country boy at heart. He loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting, and enjoyed riding motorcycles whenever he had the chance. He valued the simple things in life and will be remembered for his easygoing nature and the friendships he made along the way.

Surviving are his wife, Valerie Hallman; children, Nick Jeffcoat (Rachel) and Jason Corder (McKayla); beloved grandchildren, Cameron and Colt; and his maternal grandmother, Ellie "Granny" Mae Maroney. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Per Scottie's request, no formal services will be held at this time.
