Elizabeth S. Crossley

Mrs. Elizabeth Sturrock Crossley, 97, died Thursday, October 23, 2003 at Cumberland Village. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Delaware. She was the wife of the late Harry C. Crossley for 40 years and Willard W. Tryon for 3 years.

Mrs. Crossley was born in Knoxville, PA to the late James and Jean Sturrock. She moved to Aiken in 2002 from Forest City, NC. She was a 1930 graduate of Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, member of First and Central Presbyterian Church, Wilmington, DE, and the Flagler Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her step son Bern Tryon, step granddaughter Kathy Tryon, niece Jane Selman, and many other nieces and nephews.
