ElsiJoy Wolf, 72, of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026. Born on March 19, 1954, in Monetta, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Cunning Pickens and Betty Jean Clark. A devoted member of Eureka First Baptist Church, Elsi held steadfast faith and found comfort in the promise of being reunited with her loved ones in Heaven
Elsie dedicated much of her life to caring for others as an LPN, a profession that reflected her compassionate and selfless nature. A loving wife, devoted mother of two, and adoring grandmother, Elsie found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. She was known for her generous heart, always putting the needs of others before her own, often doing without so someone else would not have to. Her kindness and giving spirit touched countless lives. Elsie loved shopping, treasured her family deeply, and was affectionately known for always running a little late. She adored all children, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, who brought endless joy to her life. Yellow roses were her favorite flower, reflecting the beauty and warmth she shared with those around her.
Surviving are her children, Angela Thomas (Seth) and Joey Wolf (Jessica); grandchildren, Sam Thomas (Haley), Addison Thomas, and Trinity Wolf; great-grandchildren, Willow and Gatlin. She is also survived by her sister, Gail McCaskey (Marlyn); and many beloved extended family members. In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joel Wolfe; and brothers, R.W. Clark and Ed Clark.
