Elzbieta Kiepek Wunder

Elzbieta (Ela) Kiepek Wunder, 67, passed on August 28, 2019. She was predeceased by her parents Stanislaw and Janina Kiepek as well as her adored mother-in-law, Lucille Wunder. Ela is survived by her beloved husband, Robert, her one and only daughter, Sylvia [Vancouver, Canada]; eldest brother Sylwester(Cathy) Kiepek [Hudson, Canada] and their children, Niki and Eric (Rebecca), and second brother Boguslaw(Arlene) Kiepek [Apple Valley, CA].

Ela’s life began September 21, 1951 in Chlopkow, Poland. Her mother and brothers immigrated to Canadain 1964. From there she went on to live in Thunder Bay and Toronto, Canada before finding her true love in Titusville, FL. Together she and Robert were able to continue their lives together in Dothan, AL and finally settle and make Aiken, SC their home.

Ela loved to travel and learn, always finding and exploring new areas to spread wings and find new friends. She made friends every place she went and brought the best out in all of them with her enormous heart and amazing relentless kindness and generosity of time and care. She truly was all of her friends’ best friend. Be it playing Bingo, doing crafts or learning and sharing her knowledge, her life was full and she will be most dearly missed by all she touched.

An open visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801.
