Emily Fields Barnhill

Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Fields Barnhill will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2pm at River of Life Church, Aiken with Rev. John Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roger Rollins, Buddy Dahlin, Paul Kelly, Kraig Holdman, Sean Barnhill, and Greg Shultz. The family will receive friends Friday, September 5, 2007 from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211, Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to River of Life Church Building Fund, 1411 Columbia Hwy, North, Aiken, SC, 29801.

Mrs. Barnhill, 65, of Ridge Spring, died Friday, August 29, 2008 at her residence.

Born in LaGrange, NC, she was a daughter of the late Wheeler and Leora Suttles Fields. She attended and graduated Elbert County High School, Elberton, GA. She enjoyed cooking and decorating the house for family get togethers. She was co-owner and an interior designer for Barnhill Decorating, who won Best of the Best 2008 for Window Treatments. Emily was a member of River of Life Church.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, Stanley Barnhill, son, Tedd Karen Hendrix, Aiken; daughter, Kimberly Wesley Hull, Bryan, TX; brothers, John Martha Fields, Ocean View, DE; Joel Bonnie Fields, Wilmington, NC; Jeff Linda Fields, Atlanta, GA; and fourteen grandchildren.
