Graveside services for Mr. Ernest Baxter Brittain will be held on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 2pm at Green Pond Baptist Church, Jackson. Mr. Brittain, 91, of New Ellenton, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Mattie C. Hall Health Care.

Born in Morganton, NC, he was the son of the late James and Hattie Brittain. He lived in various cities before moving to Aiken in 1986. He was a retired construction electrician.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Helen Smith Brittain, daughter, Brenda Key, son in law Wesley Key, five brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his sons, Bill Mildred Brittain, Ellenboro, NC; Tony Marty Brittain, Leesville, SC; Randy Dee Brittain, Bobby Brittain, both of New Ellenton; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
