Evelyn Steedly Wilson

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Nesby Steedly Wilson, 94, of North Augusta, will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 2pm at First Christian Disciples of Christ Church corner of Kerr Dr. & Silver Bluff Rd. Aiken. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church, from 1pm until the time of the service. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to First Christian Disciples of Christ Church Building Fund, 900 Kerr Dr. Aiken, SC 29803 or to your favorite charity.

A daughter of the late Wheeler William Steedly and Sadie Morris Steedly, she was born in Bamberg, SC and lived most of her life in North Augusta, SC.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by a daughter, Delia Bryant and her husband, Delmar Donald Wilson.

She is survived by a daughter; Ramona Penn, Augusta, GA, a brother; Wheeler Morris Steedly, Walterboro, SC, three sisters; Margaret Whisehunt-Acre, Charleston, SC, Nell Fogle, Orangeburg, SC and Betty Judy, St. George, SC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
