Fannie Hall

May 25, 1935 — July 25, 2022

Fannie Mae Cromer Hall, 87, of Batesburg, was born in Ward, SC on May 25, 1935, and entered into heaven on Monday, July 25, 2022. She was a daughter of the late James Luther and Elliott Ellen "Ellie" Rodgers Cromer. Her greatest joys in life were her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, and her community.

Mrs. Hall was married to her first love, Judson Irvin "Jud" Hall, Jr. for 72 and a half years. They were blessed with 5 children, Pamela Berry (Heyward), Joseph Hall (Melanie), Patricia Mappus (Teddy), Stephen Hall, and Melissa Vance (Lee); 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Davis Cromer (Barbara); and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly as her own. Her husband and family were her greatest joy and were by her side until her last day on Earth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James "Jr." Cromer, and Robert Cromer; and sisters, Matilda Clary, Myrtle Rhodes, and Christine Berry.

The Mt. Ebal community was also an important part of her life. She attended Mt. Ebal Baptist Church for 72 years, where she volunteered and served both the church and members of the community. As a homemaker and caregiver, she was the hands and feet of Jesus to many by cooking, cleaning, and caring for those in need. Her life was a living witness to all who knew her and she leaves behind a legacy of prayer, love, and service.

The funeral service for Mrs. Hall will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 30th, at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church with burial immediately following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bill Paulling will officiate. Active pallbearers will be: William Mappus, Doug Vance, Avery Hall, Gavin Hall, Zedekiah Watkins, Brady Rosier, Ryan Rosier, Skyler Trotter, and Dylan Trotter. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 29th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Ebal Baptist Church, 5 Lion Loop, Batesburg, SC 29006.
