Florence Carolyn Kern

Interment services for Mrs. Florence Carolyn Kern will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Mrs. Kern, 88, of Aiken, SC, wife Mr. John Kern, died, Friday, morning, January 31, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Manhattan, NY, she was a World War II veteran, having served in the United States Navy Medical Corps. She had lived in Los Gatos, CA, for thirty-years, where she was a Beautician, before coming to Aiken, SC, in 1981.

In addition to her husband of fifty-two years, John Kern, a sister, Phoebe Kamer, Long Island, NY survives.
