Frank Levern Maroney

Frank Levern Maroney, 66, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Born in Prosperity, SC, he was the son of the late James Wesley and Saluda Whittle Maroney. Frank was a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and worked as a respiratory therapist team leader. A proud Clemson Tiger, Frank especially loved football season and could always be found cheering on his team. He enjoyed cookouts with friends, where his quick wit and sense of humor always brought laughter to those around him.

Above all, Frank loved his wife and their dogs, who were his constant companions.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 25 years, Heidi Maroney; beloved pups, Abigail, Bartholomew, and Ginger; along with multiple nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Jane Maroney Whitworth, Sylvia Goff, John Albert Maroney, Marion Maroney and Nancy Maroney Padgett.

The funeral service for Frank will be held at 11:00 o'clock on Friday, September 12th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with burial to follow in West Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be Clint Goff, Wesley Padgett, Rhett Addy, Leon Addy Harry Langford, and Brent Crapps.
