Freddie Jefferson Beck, Sr.

March 6, 1952 — January 3, 2021

Freddie Jefferson Beck, Sr. 68, of Prosperity went home to the Happy Hunting Ground of our Lord on Sunday, 3rd of January, 2021.

Mr. Beck was born in Edgefield county and was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Beck; mother, Annie Myrtle Corley Beck; and brother, Lonnie Lavern Beck.

Mr. Beck retired from Doolittle Logging after driving a log truck for 39 years. He was an avid deer hunter and had a great passion for raising fowl. He hatched and raised Jungle Fowl (Gamecocks), Pheasants, Quail, Guinea fowl, Cockatiel, and other assorted feathered friends. His greatest love was his family, and friends, as well as his Church family. We were blessed to have his gentle spirit with us. Freddie had a kind soul and will be anxiously awaiting us when we are called home. He always felt love, and the presence of our Lord at Celebration Church.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Windy Beck; son, Freddie Jefferson Beck, Jr. (Nina); four adored grandchildren, Erin Beck, Tatum Beck, Halana Beck, and Freddie Jefferson Beck III (Tre); sister, Linda Denise Moore; nieces, April (Earnest) Coleman, and Amy Silvers; and several great nieces and nephews. `
