Fredia Baughman

Funeral Services for Mr. Fredia "Freddie" Baughman, Sr. will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 2pm at the chapel of George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken, SC with Rev. Charlie Kelly, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be: John Williams, II, John Williams, III, Brandon Williams, Brad Hooks, Jonathan Hooks and Lamar Hooks. Interment will follow at New Beginning Cemetery, Aiken. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Baughman, 74, of New Holland, died Saturday at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

A son of the late Arnold and Roselee Woods Baughman, he was a life-long resident of Aiken County and a self-employed farmer. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his first wife, Eula Mae Wells Baughman, a son, Rodney Baughman an brother, Ray Baughman and a sister, Betty Jean Bradley.

He is survived by his wife; Barbara Hall Baughman, New Holland, three sons, Freddie Baughman, Jr. Gilbert, SC, Allen Baughman, Aiken and James Baughman, Arkansas; three daughters, Diane Williams, Aiken, Brenda Williams, Aiken and Nancy Ward, FL; step-children, Clifford Hall, GA, Keith Hall, Batesburg, SC, Bobby Hall, Batesburg, Angie Hall, Batesburg and Sherry Hall, Aiken; three brothers, Hal Baughman, Homer Baughman and Junior Baughman and four sisters; Arlene Smith, Rose Rainsford, Hazel Probst and Laurell Hope. Mr. Baughman is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
