George Wyatt "Buddy" Banks, Jr

George Wyatt "Buddy" Banks, Jr., 43, of Batesburg, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 16, at Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Larry Smith and Pastor Dennis Lear officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. before the service Sunday at the church.

Mr. Banks was born in Anderson, SC, son of George Wyatt Banks and Barbara Reynolds Banks. He was a truck driver for Carolina Concrete.

Surviving are his father, George Wyatt Banks; mother, Barbara Reynolds Banks; fiancé, Michele Dowd; daughter, Melanie Banks; sister, Sonja Banks (Luther) Fox; nieces, Alanah (Matt) Maroney; Keely Fox; and great niece, Sophie Maroney. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Payton and Sarah Banks and Robert and Ruth Reynolds.
