Georgia Mae Anderson, 83, of Ridge Spring, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late George and Geneva Gulledge. Georgia was a devoted Christian and a founding member of Calvary Holiness Tabernacle, where her faith shone brightly through her life. She loved her God deeply and cherished her family with her whole heart. Known throughout Ridge Spring for her baking, she was especially famous for her homemade fried apple pies, which many fondly remember. Georgia was also an avid prayer warrior, always lifting others up in prayer. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her four daughters: Margie Anderson Gantt Crummie (Curtis), Robin Anderson, Missy Anderson, and Lee Stone (Mickey); grandchildren, Jamie Gantt, Travis Crummie, Ashley Brazell (Codey), Misty A. Craps (Mitch), Zena Bedenbaugh (Cory), and Austin Stone (Kelly); 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by her sisters, Marjorie, Shirley, and Betty, and her brother, Larry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell “PeeWee” Anderson; her grandson, Rickey “Lil Rick” Anderson; and her great-grandson, C.J. Brazell.
Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson will be held at 2 o'clock on Tuesday, February 3rd, at Calvary Holiness Tabernacle with Pastor Mark Fincannon officiating. Burial will be private in Faith Temple Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1 until 2 o'clock at the church. Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, is assisting the family.
