Gladys Ione Putbres Otey, 67, of Batesburg, passed away April 21, 2020. Mrs. Otey was born in Port Arthur, TX, daughter of the late Robert Mason and Teresa Schneider Putbres. She was a hippie chick who loved music, cooking and her dogs!
Mrs. Otey is survived by her children, Lana (Vince) Filipponi, Frederick H. Otey, Jr all of Lexington; grandchildren, Vianna & Alexandria Filipponi; siblings, Robert “Bobby” Mason Putbres, Jr, Karen Hutson of Texas; nieces; and life partner, David Wiesmann of Ohio.
