Carol Shepherd

Glenda "Carol" Shepherd, 74, of Leesville, passed away peacefully. Born in Greenwood, SC, on March 27, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Glenn C. Hallman and Frances Goff Hallman.

Glenda had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed painting, photography, and gold mining. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Waters (Shannon Crapps), BJ Shepherd (Mary), and Josh Shepherd (Crystal); her grandchildren, Nikki Waters (Hunter Toole), Nicholas and Wayne Todd, Eliza Jane Shepherd, Josie Shepherd, Virginia Shepherd, Jade Shepherd, and Braden Crapps; and two great-grandchildren, Wylder Caughman and Sawyer Toole. She is also survived by her sisters, Anita Hallman and Edie Faye Cockrell (Randy), as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-niece, Malori Crapps.

At her request, no formal services will be held. The family plans a private celebration of life in the spring to honor her memory.
