Gloria Kaney

Memorial services for Mrs. Gloria J. Kaney will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 3pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken. In lieu of flowers a donation in her name may be made to the American Heart Association, 520 Gervais St, Suite 300, Columbia, SC, 29201.

Mrs. Kaney, 58, of Aiken, died March 30, 2008 while vacationing with family in Jacksonville, FL.

Gloria was born and lived most of her life in Greenville, AL. She attended Greenville High School in the mid 1960's. She moved with her family to Aiken in 1986. She was a seventeen year employee at the Wal-Mart in Aiken. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Kaney. She is survived by her daughters, Natasha Blackburn of Aiken; Belinda "Samm" Dorn and her husband Brad of Florence, SC; brothers Robert Maples and his wife Clair, of Washington State; Herbert Maples and his wife Mable of Missouri; granddaughter, Victoria Walton, many nieces and nephews.
