Grace Leslie Robinson

A Funeral Liturgy for Grace Leslie Robinson will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 11am at St. Mary?s Church, Aiken. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken.

Mrs. Robinson, 72 of Aiken South Carolina died suddenly December 31, 2007 in Chichester, NY while visiting local family for the holidays.

She had been a resident of Aiken since 1989. She was a service representative for the Social Security Administration for over thirty years. She was a communicant of St. Mary?s Church, the American Association of Retired Persons, and the National Home Garden Club. She enjoyed travel through out the US, as well as sewing and tending to her rose gardens. She also volunteered many hours at the Senior Citizen?s Center.

She was born in New York City on June 20, 1935 daughter of the late Gabe and Evelyn Roulette Joubert. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Austin in 1972.

Surviving are her daughters; Frances DePasquale, Chichester, NY and Ann Jo Robinson of Aiken, SC, three sons: Matthew Robinson, Woodstock, NY, Charles Robinson, Warner Robins, GA, and Joseph Henri Robinson , Columbia, SC and a sister; Rose Priester, Barnwell, SC. She is also survived by several grandchildren, and two great grandchildren
