Harold L. Dorton, 74, of Aiken, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at his residence. Services will be private and are under the care of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, Aiken.
A son of the late Adam and Irene Myers Dorton, he was born in Daisy, Kentucky. Mr. Dorton was an avid golfer and a member of Hounds Lake.
Surviving are his wife, Diane McKeag Dorton of the home; sons, Hal Dorton Diane of California, Ron Dorton Karen of South Dakota and Dan Dorton Cindy of Texas; a sister, Betty Hanshaw of West Virginia and 6 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
