Harvey Padgett Jr.

Mr. Harvey Padgett, Jr., 93, of Batesburg, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Ridge Spring Cemetery. The family encourages mask to be worn during the graveside service by all attendees.

Mr. Padgett was born in Batesburg, SC, a son of the late Harvey Padgett, Sr. and Nell Jones Padgett. He was married to the late Alise P. Padgett. Mr. Padgett was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Watson (Maynard); daughter-in-law, Brenda Padgett; grandchildren, Tiffany Councill (Hunter), Brad Padgett; and a great grandson, Blake Councill. Also surviving are his sister, Nadine Anderson; and a special friend, JoAnn Shealy. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, William Guy Padgett; and his siblings.
