Mrs. Ida Mae Williams, 86, of Warrenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 24, 2026. Born in Aiken County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Henderson and Lillian Key. Mrs. Williams retired from Owens-Corning after 30 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of Millbrook Baptist Church and found great joy in collecting treasures, reading, and traveling with family and friends.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with her family throughout her life.
She is survived by her children, Robert Lynn Williams; James Carl Williams (Jamie); Darlene Patricia Rabon (Wallace); Paula Ann Hennings (Bob); and Lisa Ann Staton (Jim); nine cherished grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Pauline Barron and Joy Morrison. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lynwood C. Williams, and her brother, Buddy Key.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Aiken Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Aiken Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Roy Morgan officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 204 University Parkway, Suite D-E, Aiken, SC 29801. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered love, support, and care during Mrs. Williams' illness. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
