September 29, 1924 — August 5, 2017
Ila Belle Hallman, 92, of Leesville, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 8, at First Baptist Church of Batesburg with interment in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Swansea with Rev. Neal Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Hallman was born in Leesville, SC daughter of the late Mr. Levi Gunter & Mrs. Corrie H. Gunter. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Batesburg. She was married to the late James Arthur Hallman.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Linda (Zane) Corley of Batesburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Hallman; David (Cynda) Hallman; Michael (Pam) Hallman all of Leesville; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Mary Hallman.
