Imogene Hayes Amick

Imogene Hayes Amick, 90, of Gilbert, SC, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022. Mrs. Amick was born in Leesville, SC to the late Gregory and Eva Pearl Hayes. She loved to work, cook for others, and most of all, loved being a servant to her community and anyone in need.

Surviving are her son, David P. Amick (Tonya); grandchildren, Josh Amick (Mandy), Jessica Amick Smith (Scotty), Jonathan Amick (Taylor), and Jolene Alexander; great-grandchildren, Treyton, Jaden, Madison, Jamie, Jonathan Jr., Aubrey, Taylor, Haley, and J.R. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ray Hayes; and grandsons, Jeremy and Jamie Amick.

The funeral service for Mrs. Amick will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, November 10th at Grace Lutheran Church, 401 Main Street, Gilbert, SC 29054, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning in the fellowship hall.
