James Timothy Booth

Funeral services for Mr. James Timothy "Pete" Booth will be held Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 2pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken with Rev. Bobby Grover and Rev. Glen Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Saunders, Lee Legg, George Grieve, G. L. Williams, Dave Davis, Dennis Willing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.

Mr. Booth, 79, of Aiken, died Friday, May 18, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born to the late Tom Booth and Rosalee Garrison Booth, he was born and lived in Aiken. He retired after forty seven years of service as a maintenance worker at the Graniteville Company. He was loved very much by his family.

Mr. Booth is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Betty New Booth, daughters, Cynthia Ricky Sanders, Phyllis Richardson, both of Aiken, grandchildren, Randy Gay, April Richardson, Preston Gay, and nephew, Elmer Hatcher.
