James Robert Hunter

Mr. James Robert Hunter, 91, beloved husband of Arlene Monica Vanderbeck Hunter passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Aiken Regional Medical Center following an illness.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Hunter is survived by 1 son, Jim Hunter (Janice); 1 brother, Bill Hunter (Patsy) of Virginia Beach, VA; 3 grandsons, Brian Hunter (Julie), Dan Hunter (Melissa) & Derek Hunter; 2 great-grand children, Haisley Hunter & Weston Hunter.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 11:00am at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 125 Park Ave SE, Aiken, SC 29801 with the Very Rev. Richard Wilson as celebrant.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, October 8, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234.
