James Oscar Hutchinson

Graveside services for Mr. James "Jim or Jimbo" Oscar Hutchinson, Jr. will be held on Monday, November17, 2008 at 2pm in Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to Christ Central, 3605 Richland Ave, W, Aiken, SC, 29801.

Mr. Hutchinson, 46, of Aiken, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at his residence.

Born in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of James and Shelvie Durden Hutchinson, Sr. He move to Aiken in 2007 from Oxford, MS. He was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church. Jimbo was an ordained minister for counseling and volunteered at Christ Central. He also did private counseling and work at Huntsman Market.

He was predeceased by his brother, Jeffery Wayne Hutchinson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Landon Lamar Hutchinson, daughter, Christen Lauren Hutchinson, both of oxford, MS, and many cousins.
